Its FURAHIDAY!!!
Its finally Friday, I'm a believer of the motto "work hard, play hard", you've worked hard this week, you gave it your all, and you deserve to have a calm and relaxing Friday, so I've compiled a small list of things you can do this weekend and allow you to enjoy yourself and who knows what more, so make sure to Carpe Diem this Friday and have blast friends!
1. Tehilla: The week has been cantakarous for some of us, busy busy with lots of expectations. I guess the first order of business this Friday is head for Tehilla in Mbezi Beach Park, worship and praise my God before i do anything. He loves and sustains me; He comes first. Pastor Isaac is also continuing with the teaching on the process (for those who were at the women of virtue conference).
2. Movie time: Come on when was the last time you were at the movie? I bet its been ages but just because you have a 3D tv, a super hometheatre and access to the latest movie doesnt mean you forget about the cinemas. The smell of popcorns, the dark hall and loud theatre is a worthwhile experience. Up your ass and head to the cinemas, good movies this weekend that you dont wna miss out on.. http://www.zoomtanzania.com/ExpandedListing.CFM?ListingID=1589
3. Island treat: I know the boat tragedies in Bongo have created a sense of fear for the ocean and boats but a couple of minutes on the boat will not kill you. There are amazing islands close to the shore that you can explore, How about Snorkeling, hiking, and exploring Bongoyo island or Mbudya island. These two islands have a therapeutic effect on me; a quick get away from civilisation...Marvel at the beauty of nature and just chill out. Its a great spot for picnics and a few drinks with friends as well.
4. Nightlife: Time to get the creaky bones in shape. If you are a club-hopper like myself then the nighclub is a must over the weekend. Dar es salaam has a colourful nightlife and so much energy during the night. Too many clubs to sample, varieties of music to dance to .Sample the cocktails at level 8 at the Hyatt, Lossen up at Savannah lounge, break a leg at Maisha, you can head to Runway lounge for a wind up .
5. A drive: Sundays tend to be the laziest of day.I like to just chill at home and sleep it away. But it is also the day that everyone else is sleeping and chilling at home including the traffic police (lol). How about a drive to wherever? Take a long drive to Bagamoyo, drive to Kigamboni, drive to the further outskirts of the city. I like to do so at a high speed and just enjoy the road then head back home and sleep dreading the morning..
The weekend is soo long and there is so much to do,
Get out there and have a blast
See you on Monday........................damn!!
